Prenatal
Nova supports parents in navigating pregnancy with confidence, building trust in themselves, and bonding with their partner and baby. Prenatal support provides guidance and education to help families make informed choices, release fears, and prepare for birth with greater ease.
Postpartum
Nova empowers the physical and emotional transition into parenthood through knowledgeable, compassionate, and personalized support. Postpartum services may include birth story processing, meal support, breastfeeding support, newborn care, and strategies for rest and healing.
Birth
Nova is here to support families in having a birth experience they can look back on with joy. Dedicated physical and emotional support allows parents to focus on their connection with their body and their baby. All families are embraced, including LGBTQIA+ families and teen parents.
Birth support for trauma survivors
Nova offers a trauma-informed approach to birth support that prioritizes creating a sense of safety in both the birthing space and the body. Through advocacy support and physical and emotional grounding strategies, clients are supported in gaining agency within their birthing experience and staying present throughout labor.

Inviting someone into a birth space is an intimate and vulnerable experience. Choosing a doula means selecting someone who will guide, encourage, calm doubts, advocate, and provide physical and emotional support throughout labor and birth.
