About Your Coach
Hello!
My name is Alex.
I received my Bachelor’s in Outdoor Leadership from Western Colorado University in 2010. Since then I’ve been working in the outdoor industry with people of all abilities. I discovered my passion for Adaptive Recreation while working at the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center and since then have been focusing on working with people of all abilities through a myriad of activities- rafting, cycling, skiing, climbing, you name it.
Throughout my 12 years in adaptive recreation I have developed an outlook on personal growth that has led me to starting Otterly. The mission of Otterly is simple, to provide a supportive space for every individual to grow.
My passion is to see each person as their own unique individual and find creative ways for them to move towards their goals. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD, but have been struggling with it my entire life. My experiences have given me a unique ability to provide guidance, support and fun for all. Because I have spent so much time in the recreation industry, I love to base my sessions around the outdoors, games, and fun activities.
