USU Extension Pregnancy and Parenting Class

Are you pregnant or thinking about becoming pregnant, then this class is for you. You could be a first time mom or a mom with kids. This class will teach what you can do to have a healthy pregnancy and learn parenting tips for after the baby is born. The class registration fee is for two people, so you are encouraged to bring a plus 1 with you to each class! It could be a significant other, family member, or friend. We hope you can join us for the USU Extension Pregnancy and Parenting Class!

This is a 4-week class series. Dinner will be provided at each class. New topics are covered at each class, so you’ll want to attend all four classes. Topics covered in the classes include:

- Nutrition and Physical Activity during pregnancy, taught by a registered dietitian

- Tips and tricks for feeding your baby after birth, taught by a lactation consultant

- Safe sleep tips for the baby and general parenting tips, taught by a USU Extension faculty

- Infant development and milestones to be aware of, taught by infant occupational therapist

Class Time: 6:00-7:00pm

Class Dates: February 12, 20, 26, and March 4
